Your Sidr Ritual.
Preparation
Hair only: 1½ tablespoons of Sidr Powder.
Hair + face: 2 tablespoons, for both rituals.
Optional add-on: before adding water, you can mix in a small amount of Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Black Seed Oil, or another suitable botanical oil. Sidr can also be used on its own.
Gradually add warm water and mix until you get a smooth, creamy, spreadable paste.
Tip: keep the mixture soft rather than overly thick — it will be easier to apply and rinse.
Allow the freshly mixed paste to rest for 10–15 minutes, then stir briefly again before application. This lets the powder fully hydrate into a smoother, more cohesive paste.
Application
Work the paste through damp scalp and hair, focusing especially on the roots and areas where oil or buildup tends to collect.
Allow the treatment to sit for 10 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum.
Rinse carefully until all remaining Sidr powder has been removed.
Expect a light lather. Sidr does not foam like conventional shampoo — that's completely normal.
If using Sidr for both hair and face, reserve a small amount of the prepared paste for your facial ritual.
Spread a thin layer over the face, avoiding the eye area.
Keep the treatment on for 10 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum.
Rinse thoroughly and follow with your usual moisturizer.
